Spring collection

I am so thankful that we made it home safely today. The weather forecast says there will be wet snow showers today but we totally forgot about that until we were on the road and heading up North to do our weekly shopping spree. The traffics were horrible. The moment we entered the freeway it was gridlock so I ended up taking a local way. Well, not like the local way is any faster but at least our wheels were moving continuously so it gave a feeling of not being stuck and wasting our time. It was still much better than staying in one place and seeing the endless congestion.

When we were 5 exits away from the outlet then it started to snow heavily. I have never driven in such heavy snow before. Luckily, it was a wet snow shower so the snow didn't stick at all. It was nice to see the snow and to see naked trees covered with white but I'm telling you it was not fun driving in the snow. We did not want to get estranged at the outlet so we made it a super quick shopping spree. :) Anyway, check out our new collection.

Christmas Lights in Leavenworth

We went to Leavenworth to see the Christmas lights. I have been to the Bavarian town numerous times already but never once been there while the Christmas lights are up. This is my first time been to Leavenworth in the Winter. We got there around 2:30 PM and it was warmer than I anticipated.  It was 30 something Fahrenheit and gloomy but no snow at all. But after an hour then it started to snow heavily.

You can kind of see the mountain in the back with some snow

The town is slowly lit up! :)

The town is bright and beautifully lit up.

It snows heavily by the time we left the town.
